Dennet Clyde was the leader of the Hammers, a criminal organization on Thorum. He was killed by a bomb set by Crimson Dawn after it was determined his syndicate was intruding on Crimson Dawn space.[2]
Biography
Clyde started as a lumberman before becoming the head of a gang. When Qi'ra stopped by his headquarters posing as a wealthy off-world buyer, he blamed his secretary, who was his sister-in-law, for losing the appointment. He agreed to sell his entire harvest of delweed to Qi'ra. She demanded that he personally put together the sales order and left while he was busy. Panicked, he brought together the gang leaders to try and determine who Qi'ra was which led the Crimson Dawn surveillance to discovering everything about the gang. He met her when she returned to his office to sign the contracts.[2]
After signing the contract and paying Clyde, Qi'ra departed the office. The Crimson Dawn subsequently launched an attack against the leadership of the Hammers. Clyde and his secretary were killed during a bomb attack.[2]
Personality and traits
Clyde often blamed subordinates instead of taking it himself. Due to his previous occupation as a lumber worker, he had strong muscles. Clyde also had a wife whose sister worked as his secretary. Clyde had a habit of shifting blame to his subordinates, particularly his secretary.[2]
