The Demiloch system was located in Lannik Space[3] within the Slice portion[2] of the Mid Rim Territories. Situated in grid square R-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it was linked by a hyperspace route to the Lannik and Daalang systems.[1] The star system contained the terrestrial astronomical object Demiloch, where the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry held a recruitment drive[4] by 3 ABY.[5] The recruiting was cut short when an Imperial spy posing as a recruit shot the 61st's Captain Micha Evon, leaving the officer unconscious for two days.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Demiloch system was first marked on a galactic map[6] designed by Christopher Ibbitt[7] for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines. The map was first released as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[8] on May 27, 2022[9] with Star Wars: Timelines making its debut during Celebration Europe[10] on April 7 through 10, 2023.[11] The system was identified in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map article on StarWars.com[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[12]
