The Death Star's Imperial Navy garrison was the sizable garrison of the naval branch of the Galactic Empire that was stationed on board the Death Star and was fully equipped with a fleet that included assault gunboats, dreadnoughts, and Star Destroyers. Due to the size of the garrison, Navy personnel took up a large amount of room aboard the Death Star, annoying the Death Star's Imperial Army garrison and Battle Station Operations personnel. The entire garrison and fleet were led by Chief of the Imperial Navy Admiral Conan Antonio Motti.[1]
