Darth Vader's Mission: The Search for the Secret Plans is young reader Star Wars Action Toy Book produced by White Heat and published in September 1997 by Fun Works Play To Learn. The book consists of sixteen full-color illustrated comic-style pages with a cutout in the middle through which a rubbery Darth Vader action figure is suspended on a cord. Comic ballons are used to make the figure saying its lines. The Search for the Secret Plans was written by Jane Paley and produced by White Heat, with art by Ken Steacy.
