Plot summary
Development
The story includes material new to the Special Edition, such as Han Solo's encounter with Jabba the Hutt; however, none of the book's photos are from the new Special Edition scenes.[1]
Legacy
The text and recording, including the voice cast, was reused for the 2015 canon adaptation A New Hope Read-Along Storybook and CD.[4]
