The Darnaburny system was a star system located in the Kanz sector of the Outer Rim[1] and New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square N-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
During the High Republic Era,[3] the vicinity of the system was the site of[4] the Darnaburny Civil War, which the Mirialan Jedi Vernestra Rwoh had participated in.[3] By around 160 BBY,[5] the human Jedi Indara had learned of Rwoh's involvement in the Darnaburry Civil War and considered it a historical and tragic event.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Darnaburny system was mentioned in[1] the October 13, 2025[6] update to "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com.[1] Both were written by Jason Fry.[7]

(In reply to: "Jason, is Gendrah-Narvin a city country, star, or planet?")" (backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), and his Atlas co-author Daniel Wallace, stated their intention to create the approximate locations for numerous events based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Darnaburny Civil War in relation to the Darnaburny system.
