DD-1 hover droid

The DD-1 hover droid^[1] was a type of training droid, sometimes customized and utilized by the Jedi Order to teach Jedi Initiates on Tenoo. Younglings training at the Tenoo Jedi Temple dueled against these fast-moving droids to hone their acrobatics and fighting skills against the droids' quadruple electroblade training swords.^[2]

Behind the scenes

These training droids first appeared in "Meet the Young Jedi," the introductory short in the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures series,^[3] which was released on the Disney Junior YouTube channel on March 27, 2023.^[4]
