Crystal bats were a type of bat found in the Triple Moon Caves on the planet Siline.^[1] In 134 BBY,^[2] while visiting the caves, the Silinese Rhos Arthyst told Jedi Padawan Yord Fandar to watch out for both crystal bats and endangered dry-rock salamanders. Although Fandar wanted to see the crystal bats, he resisted the urge to immediately crane his neck upward and instead relied on swift glances, noticing channels that led into the cave ceiling where he assumed the bats lived.^[1]
