Bat were a type of creatures whose characteristics included wings,[2] a flat nose, and elongated ears.[3] Known species of bats included the chirodactyl,[4] the jogan-bat,[2] the kinor bat,[5] the Loth-bat,[6] the snow shredder bat,[7] the sandbat, and the Spintiri glowbat.[8] The silicon-based parasites called mynocks were bat-like creatures.[1]
