- "Oh, you'd be amazed at what I can do. Force abilities, I've mastered them all. Vitali. The Cry of the Broken King. Not to mention Morichro, the Touch of Death."
- ―Tey Sirrek, to Vildar Mac

The Cry of the Broken King was a Force power.[1] While investigating[2] the murder of the Sarravi V'Kara[1] in 382 BBY,[3] the Sephi thief Tey Sirrek was spotted standing next to the Sarravi's corpse by the Kiffar[1] Jedi Master[4] Vildar Mac, who had chased Sirrek after seeing[1] him[2] steal from a Bpfasshi Truthsayer. Thinking Sirrek had killed V'Kara, Mac confronted him, attempting to strike him down with his lightsaber. After Sirrek managed to dodge all of Mac's stikes, the annoyed Jedi asked how he was doing so.[1]
Sirrek then claimed to have mastered many Force powers, including the Cry of the Broken King, Vitali and Morichro. Mac dismissed that as nonsense, stating that Morichro was nothing more than a myth.[1] The Sephi then used biological pheromones his ancestors had developed for usage against predators to temporarily knock out Mac,[2] while claiming that he was using Morichro on the Jedi.[1]
