The Crakull system was located in the Unknown Regions in grid square G-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Crakull system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2]

In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the star system that was home to the Croke species was first indirectly mentioned in the 1983 novel Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka, the final volume in The Lando Calrissian Adventures trilogy, which was written by L. Neil Smith.[3] The 2002 reference book The New Essential Guide to Characters then specified that the Croke were native to the planet Crakull.[4] Finally, in 2009, the reference book The Essential Atlas introduced the Crakull system.[5]
