The Construction Division was a division of the House of Tagge's Tagge Corporation.^[1] In 3 ABY,^[2] the colony on the moon Gortus 4 signed over the rights to the moon to Lady Domina Tagge—the leader of Tagge Corporation. Domina was informed of the news by her^[1] secretary^[3] Lapin Tagge,^[4] after which she instructed^[1] them^[3] to tell the Construction Division to set up an ore factory on the moon within a week.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Construction Division was mentioned in flashbacks in the sixth issue of the 2020 comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra. The issue was written by Alyssa Wong and published by Marvel Comics^[1] on November 25, 2020. Prior to the release of the comic, the division was mentioned in a preview article of the issue that was published on StarWars.com on November 18 of the same year.^[5]
