According to rumors about Planet X, a mysterious planet many individuals believed to be a myth, cloud angels were sentient beings who could grant any wish and were found on the planet.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] while on the planet Batuu, the pilot Sky Graf told Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani about cloud angels and other rumors they had heard regarding Planet X. However, the hyperspace prospector Dass Leffbruk, who had previously been to the planet, refuted the rumors.[1]

Cloud angels were mentioned in the 2023 junior novel The High Republic: Quest for Planet X, written by Tessa Gratton as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3]
