The Climbsuit was a type of lightweight armor manufactured by Ayelixe/Krongbing Textiles for climbing and rappelling. It cost 1,450 credits on the market and was built from light, flexible fabrics, and had impact-absorbing reinforcements at its important areas. The suit was composed of a pair of gloves, boots, and a helmet with a built-in polarized visor. It was equipped with a built-in climbing harness, load-bearing straps wrapped around the waist and legs, equipment buckles, and a 300-meter retractable spool of high-tensile climbing line. The suit was coated in FrictionGrip, a special coating composed of thousands of microscopic filaments designed to grip surfaces in a manner similar to arachnids. All of the armor's systems combined to help the user stay firmly attached to a surface, or to help them survive a fall.[1]
