The Chonsetta system was located in the Metatessu sector[1] within the Slice portion[2] of the Mid Rim Territories. Situated at the coordinates R-9 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it contained at least one comet.[3] In 3 ABY,[4] the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry—consisting of the CR90 corvette Thunderstrike, the Braha'tok-class gunship Apailana's Promise, and two X-wing starfighters—was attacked by around a dozen TIE interceptors of the Galactic Empire, which had followed a hypermatter leak from the Thunderstrike's hyperdrive. The TIEs, having been hidden away in a comet trail, ravaged the starboard side of the corvette before the 61st escaped. After the attack, the rebel company discovered how the Empire had tracked its vessels.[3]
