This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1] Chon Actrion was a member of this species.[2]
Biology and appearance
This sentient species was distinguished by their their wrinkled skin and sunken faces, with pointed chins, high-set eyes, naturally downturned mouths, wide, upturned nostrils, and large three-ridged head crest that strongly resembled those belonging to the Besalisk species, appearing hard and segmented, running up and over from their foreheads.[1]
Species in the galaxy
Sometime prior to the start of the Clone Wars,[3] a member of this species, Chon Actrion, served as a member of the Jedi Order, even reaching the rank of Jedi Master. As a legendary Jedi who earned the title "Architect of Freedom,"[2] they were remembered via bronzium busts displayed throughout the Jedi Archives in the temple on the planet Coruscant[1] up until the fall of the Order.[4]
Behind the scenes
The species made their onscreen debut via busts in the 2002 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, directed by George Lucas.[1]
