Chita's ship[2] was a YV-865 Aurore-class freighter owned by the smuggler Chita. When the planet Zenarita was occupied by the Galactic Empire, Chita was hired to bring the planet's prince, Arluu, to safety. Along with the former Jedi Gleenu, they escaped to the freighter and used it to travel to[1] the moon[3] Yavin 4.[1]

Behind the scenes

Chita's ship appeared in "The Smuggler," a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Trigger, was released on Disney+[1] on October 29, 2025.[4]
