Gleenu was a Force-sensitive[2] Cerean[1] former Jedi[2] who was active during the Imperial Era. After the Great Jedi Purge, they swore allegiance to the Zenarita royal family and helped Prince Arluu evade capture by the Galactic Empire.[2]

Behind the scenes

Gleenu appeared in "The Smuggler", a non-canon short film released as part of the third volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, produced by Studio Trigger and released on Disney+ on October 29, 2025. The character was first introduced at the Star Wars: Visions panel at Celebration Japan on April 19, 2025.[3] Gleenu is voiced by Yasuko Hatori in the original Japanese version and by Judith Light in the English dub.[2]
