The Chiss Expansionary Fleet medcenter was located on the Unknown Regions Chiss Ascendancy planet Naporar. Several months before[1] 19 BBY,[2] the Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," clashed against the Vagaari pirates during the Vagaari pirate operations and was injured in the process. Following the conclusion of the operations, Thrawn underwent his last round of physical therapy in the medcenter.[1] Around 19 BBY,[3] Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet Supreme General Ba'kif sent a shuttle to the medical facility to retrieve Thrawn as he was in need of the senior captain's assistance for a mission to the Ascendancy's Dioya system.[1]
