"Spent three months as wreckers on the fringes of the Celestial Wake, waylaying Mining Guild oreships."
―An excerpt from Tivoche Bilure's journal[3]

The Celestial Wake was a location in the Celestial Wake system, within the Kriz sector in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches,[2] in grid square K-19 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] By 10 BBY,[4] the criminal Tobias Beckett and his crew spent three months on the fringes of the Celestial Wake, waylaying Mining Guild oreships. When bartender Tivoche Bilure learned about Beckett's crew actions near the Celestial Wake, he wrote about them in his journal.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Celestial Wake was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2018 replica journal Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor, written by Jason Fry.[3] The Celestial Wake was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the comic story "The Brink," written by Justin Lambros, illustrated by Rick Lacy, and published in the fourth volume of the comic series Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures[5] on October 26, 2005.[6]
