Carrots,[1] also known as space carrots,[2] were a food that were used to make carrot juice. While visiting Lando Calrissian on Bespin, the criminal Jaxxon T. Tumperakki was offered carrot juice by Calrissian's assistant, Lobot, which Tumperakki found offensive, and prompted him to want to tell Lobot "where he could put his carrots."[1]

Carrots were first mentioned in the 2016 non-canon activity book LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Side: Doodle Activity Book.[3] They were subsequently introduced into the Star Wars canon as part of the dish Ithorian Garden Patty Bun, which was sold in the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo restaurant in Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.[4]

Non-canon history

In LEGO Star Wars: Choose Your Side: Doodle Activity Book, it is stated that Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn prefers eating carrots over wielding a lightsaber.
