The Cadavine sector was a sector of the galaxy located in the Outer Rim Territories. Planets in Cadavine included Zhar and Melida/Daan.
Behind the scenes
The Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook said Dorvalla was the recently established capital of the Cadavine sector. However, the later source Darth Maul: Saboteur placed it in the Videnda sector. Leland Chee has confirmed that for the time being, the original placement in the Cadavine sector is incorrect, and the latter placement is considered canon.[6]

Galaxy Map Discussion on the StarWars.com Message Boards (May 28, 2003): "For the time being, we are disregarding the placement of Dorvalla in the Cadavine sector as described in the Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook (which also misspelled 'Zhar' as 'Zahr.') As far as I know, there are no intentions to expand upon whether a second Dorvalla exists or not." (original site is defunct)
