The Bunka system was an inhabited star system centered around at least one star[2] in the Illisurevimurasi sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] Some time before 41 BBY,[3] the star in the system collapsed, resulting in mass evacuations. The evacuations caused a division of Galactic Republic troops heading for the planet Ontotho to be waylaid.[2]
