Bulgeski was a Sallichen male[2] senator who represented Salliche in the Galactic Senate during the era of the Galactic Republic.[1]

A Sallichen male[2] that lived in the twilight decades of the Galactic Republic era, Bulgeski served as senator for the Core Worlds planet Salliche inside the Galactic Senate. An agriworld that cultivated the crops exported to planets like the capital Coruscant, as their spokesman, Bulgeski claimed that Salliche represented the breadbasket of the Core Worlds and called for the Republic Guard to intervene when his homeworld fell beneath assault from Norkronian raiders.[1]

In 42 BBY,[3] not long after his request for aid, Bulgeski was present at the Senate Chamber when Jedi Master Dooku addressed him and his fellow senators to voice protest to cuts that the congress was intending to make to their trade route defense program. Though Dooku sought to intervene on behalf of the populations of worlds in the Outer Rim Territories that would be affected, Bulgeski objected to his arguments and engaged in a verbal sparring match where the senator accused the Jedi of attempting to influence the Senate. Dooku tried to use the recent request that Bulgeski had made for assistance to support his argument that the Outer Rim should receive the same benefits, but the Sallichen responded that the importance of his homeworld necessitated this intervention, as Salliche represented a vital food source for Coruscant and the other Core Worlds. When his statement prompted his opponent to theorise that Bulgeski and his constituents were afraid that the agricultural worlds of the Outer Rim would become their competitors, the senator denied this as a scandalous accusation, while Supreme Chancellor Kalpana dismissed Dooku's advice.[1]
