The Bright Jewel Oversector, also known as Sector 8, was a region of space that included Toprawa, Feriae Junction, Thesme sector, Kwenn Space Station, the Gordian Reach, the Vallusk Cluster, and the Bright Jewel Cluster. It crossed into the Mid Rim and Outer Rim regions.
It was the theater of operations of the Republic 8th Sector Army during the Clone Wars. After the Declaration of a New Order, it was reorganized in an Imperial Priority Sector and placed under the rule of Grand Moff Vanko.[1][2] The Bright Jewel sector was made the hub of the oversector. It was later governed by Governor-General Nox Vellam.
