Bow

A bow was a primitive weapon^[1] consisting of a flexible arc bent by a string at each end and used to launch pointed projectiles^[6] called arrows.^[10] The Ewoks, a sentient species from the Forest Moon orbiting the planet of Endor, had bows among their arsenal.^[1] During the Battle of Endor, Ewoks notably used bows and arrows to assist the Alliance to Restore the Republic in the fight against the Galactic Empire.^[6]

The Jedi Master Yoda used a bow and arrow to hunt a quadruped for its meat while he was in exile on Dagobah, and he successfully managed to kill one of the beasts by shooting it in the neck with an arrow.^[11] On Dathomir, the Hunters of the Nightsisters clan wielded energy bows whose strings and arrows were made of plasma.^[5] The unaltered clone of Jango Fett, Omega utilized an energy bow as her primary weapon that she took from a group of Zygerrian enslavers on Ord Mantell.^[12] The Zabrak Hunter Nox used a composite bow known as the Wild Bow as her primary weapon during the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition within the Grand Arena on the planet Vespaara.^[13]
