A testing facility from Koensayr Manufacturing was active during the early Clone Wars for the Y-wing project. Galactic Republic Senator Ask Aak oversaw the facility,[2] placed in orbit above Bormus[1] in the Mid Rim[2] as it tested and developed the BTL-B Y-wing starfighter/bombers,[1] despite the Republic already owning BTL-B Y-wings as force projection prior to the outbreak of war.[4]
