A body glove,[1] also known as a body suit,[2] or a skinsuit,[3] was a full-body, form-fitting piece of clothing. The clone troopers of the Galactic Republic, the stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire,[1] the stormtroopers of the First Order,[4] and the Sith troopers of the Sith Eternal all wore black body gloves under their armor.[5]

The clone troopers' temperature-controlled phase I armor was sealed to twenty form-fitting plastoid-alloy composite plates by magnatomic gription panels. Their pressurized body gloves also gave the clones temporary protection against the vacuum of space.[6]
