Blue ice apples were a type of blue apple fruit edible to Yaddle's species and Arkanians.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] the Jedi youngling Cippa Tarko used the Force to move one of several blue ice apples and swiftly split it into four equal sections. Tarko then floated one piece toward the Jedi Master Yaddle—her assigned instructor—though the latter waved the portion away and told several individuals via hologram, who had seen their interaction, about the youngling's tendency to show off.[1]

Behind the scenes

A blue ice apple appeared in a hologram in Cataclysm, a novel written by Lydia Kang and published in 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3]
