The Blaster Remote was a piece of weaponized equipment developed by the rookie Hunter medic, programmer, and tinkerer, Sprocket, for use in the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition hosted on Vespaara.[2] Developed from modified training remotes, they were not to be confused with actual training droids, as, like the Defense Drones and Ultra Turrets also designed by Sprocket, they were controlled manually from his datapad and custom repulsorlift Command Chair.[1] When participating in matches within the Grand Arena, Sprocket would always bring two Blaster Remotes to serve as his primary weapon of choice. They were also highly customizable.[2]
