The Besero system was located in the Deep Core[2] and the Interior.[1] It lay in grid square L-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Besero system was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in "The Deep Core,"[3] an article written by Mark Newbold[4] and included in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the thirty-sixth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine[3] that was published around September 9, 2015.[5] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[2] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[6] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[7]
