The Baylagon system was a star system in the Core Worlds.[1] In an attempt to cover up a theft of U-wing transports during the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Senator Bail Organa had an Aldraig data clerk mistakenly route a shipment of U-wings to Coruscant through Baylagon.[2]
After the Galactic Empire's Imperial Security Bureau launched an inquiry led by Chief Investigator Axvering, Senator Organa acknowledged the data clerk's mistake, but believed that another layover would not have been an inconvenience to a competent pilot. The U-wing transports eventually reached the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[2]
Behind the scenes
Baylagon was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Rebel Files, a canon 2017 boxed set and reference book authored by Daniel Wallace.[2]
