The Battle of Carmeen was a battle that occurred on Carmeen before the Imperial Era that resulted in the death of the majority of the Carmeenians involved. Director Orson Krennic studied the battle during his time at the ISB Academy. Senator Mon Mothma had been taught that the battle was in fact a systematic execution.[1]
By 3 BBY, Davo Sculdun, a Chandrilan businessman had several items pertaining to Carmeenian culture as well as the Battle of Carmeen in particular within his private gallery on Coruscant. One piece, the Lost Tairn, was left behind during the battle. During a Senate Investiture party hosed by Sculdun, Mothma and Krennic verbally sparred about the battle.[1]
