A battle between the Imperial Navy of the Galactic Empire and fleet of the Alliance to Restore the Republic occurred in the Altyr system[1] in the Outer Rim's Morshdine sector[3] as part of the Galactic Civil War[1] in 3 ABY.[2] The Empire emerged victorious and destroyed a rebel capital ship. Commander Folimar called the battle a brisk reminder of the Empire's superior force and was quoted by reporter Dorna Parros during coverage of the battle on the HoloNet News.[1]
