- "A long way from Baroli, huh?"
"And then some." - ―Teff and Jano Brayson, on visiting Starlight Beacon
Baroli was the homeworld[4] of the Barolian[3] pilots Jano Brayson and Teff.[4] It was located in the Baroli system in the Baroli sector of the Expansion Region,[1] along the Hydian Way super-hyperroute.[2] In 231 BBY,[5] when the two reunited on the Starlight Beacon space station after becoming Z-29 Skyhawk pilots in the Galactic Republic's Firebird Squadron, Teff commented that they were a long way from Baroli, which Brayson agreed with.[4]
Behind the scenes
Baroli was first canonically mentioned in the 2021 audio drama The High Republic: Tempest Runner, written by Cavan Scott for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[4] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Baroli was first mentioned in the 1992 West End Games Heir to the Empire Sourcebook, written by Bill Slavicsek.[6]
