The Banfoden Prime system was a star system in the Alchenaut sector of the Expansion Region. It lay in grid square L-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained the terrestrial astronomical object Banfoden Prime.[2] Between 389 BBY and 379 BBY,[3] Jedi Padawan Rooper Nitani settled an uprising on Banfoden Prime.[2]

The Banfoden Prime system was mentioned in[1] an October 13, 2025[4] update to the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[5] and its appendix, "Star Systems of the Galaxy,"[1] which were both authored by Jason Fry.[4]
