The pirate Tanana Keem[2] had special bampfer ointment that[1] her[2] child, Zyle Keem, brought with[1] them[2] to a battle against the Nihil marauders on the planet Valo[1] in 228 BBY.[3] When Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram was shot during the battle while onboard the cruiser Star Hopper,[1] he[2] said he barely felt it, but Zyle told him it would sting once the Nihil stopped shooting at them and offered him some of the bampfer ointment, holding up an orange container of it. However, Jomaram declined the offer, saying there was no time.[1]

Behind the scenes

Bampfer ointment appeared in the twelfth issue of the 2023 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The issue was written by Daniel José Older, illustrated by Caìo Filipe and published by Dark Horse Comics as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase III[1] on November 20, 2024.[4]
