- "Laying in our course to—to Baltizaar."
"Mirrors bend light." - ―Leia Organa and Amilyn Holdo
Baltizaar was an astronomical object[2] in the Mid Rim Territories' Corthenia sector, located within the Baltizaar system. It was situated in grid square K-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and connected to a hyperspace route.[2] In 3 BBY,[3] Princess Leia Organa traveled to the planet Paucris Major from the Core Worlds planet Coruscant to warn a nascent rebel fleet in the Paucris system of an impending Imperial attack. After passing on her message, Organa decided to plot a hyperspace course to Baltizaar and travel back to Coruscant from there. Her travel companion Amilyn Holdo agreed with the detour, alluding that breaking up their route would make it harder for Imperials to track where they had been. However, before the pair could depart for Baltizaar, Organa discovered that fellow Apprentice Legislator Kier Domadi had followed her to the Paucris system aboard a cutter and moved to make contact with his ship.[2]
