A baldric was a belt worn over one's shoulders. It was worn by members of various species, including Viidaav, Tiss'shar, and Wookiees. Baldrics were very important to Wookiee culture; a Wookiee earned the right to wear a baldric after completing a hrrtayyk ceremony.
