Return of the Jedi 2 is the second issue of the Legends comic book miniseries Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, which adapts the film of the same name. Based on a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas, it was adapted by Archie Goodwin, illustrated by Al Williamson and Carlos Garzón, and first published by Marvel Comics in November 1983. The issue features the story "The Emperor Commands," which opens with the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon.

This issue includes a scene cut from the original film, featuring Princess Leia attacking a deck gunner preparing to fire on the skiff carrying Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian.[3] A panel of Leia struggling to reach a nearby blaster pistol while chained to Jabba's body, another cut scene, is also included.[4]
