Baktoid Combat Automata, abbreviated BCA,[3] was a manufacturer of battle droids, many of which saw use in the Separatist Droid Army.[2] It was a sister company to Baktoid Armor Workshop, both of which were owned by the Techno Union.[1] Baktoid Combat became an associated[10] sister company to Baktoid Armor. Baktoid Combat also had its own subsidiary in Baktoid Fleet Ordnance.[1]

Baktoid's factories on Geonosis and other planets built countless battle droids for the Separatists during the Clone Wars.[2] After the Empire's takeover of Combat Automata, certain executives and leading engineers formed a corporation of their own, Baktoid Industrial Systems, which the Empire later annexed as well.[11]
