The Bajic sector was a sector of the galaxy. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a shipyard within the sector was co-operated by the criminal Tenloss and Crymorah Syndicates and there a ship was constructed for use by dissident forces against the Empire. The ship was constructed from the stolen components of Separatist warships destroyed during the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic. After the ship had been destroyed in an attack on a Imperial convoy, the Empire discovered its origin within the Bajic sector, and Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin informed Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine and Darth Vader of the information.[2]
