Azure sector

The Azure sector was a sector located^[3] in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories^[1] that contained the planet Anaxes.^[3]

Behind the scenes

The Azure sector originated from the Star Wars Legends continuity, in which Anaxes was located in the Core Worlds.^[7] In the modern canon continuity, Anaxes was moved to the Outer Rim, and sources such as Dawn of Rebellion, Ultimate Star Wars, and Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy repeated the Azure sector placement along with the new Outer Rim placement.^[3] However, the 2025 "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix instead listed the Anaxes system under the Antemeridian sector,^[8] lining up with Anaxes' new placement on the Star Wars Galaxy Map^[9] as it falls in the part of space where the Antemeridian sector was located in Legends.^[10]
