The Avenue of the Core Founders was a large concourse which served as the pathway to the Senate Building's entrance on Coruscant.[3] It was adorned with humanoid statues representing the original founders of the Galactic Republic, all of whom hailed from the Core Worlds. By the time of the Invasion of Naboo, those statues were criticized for no longer being representative of the multi-species Republic.[4]
