"You know, you could watch podracing with me instead, I won't tell the Jedi Council. The Athio Seven Hundred is coming up."
―Anakin Skywalker, to Obi-Wan Kenobi via comlink[4]

The Athio Seven Hundred was a podrace[4] held in the vicinity of[2] the Outer Rim Territories' Athio system[3] and was held during or after 22 BBY. That year,[1] Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi—who was on a mission on the planet Cato Neimoidia—revealed to Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker via comlink that he had been working with the information broker Dexter Jettster. Skywalker replied that Kenobi should instead spend his free time watching podracing with him, noting that the Athio Seven Hundred was soon and promising not to tell the Jedi Council.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Athio Seven Hundred was mentioned in the 2022 novel Brotherhood, written by Mike Chen.[4]

Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Athio Seven Hundred in relation to the Athio system.
