The Aramal system was located in the Ryborean sector of the Expansion Region in grid square J-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Aramal system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[2] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity via a mention in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[3]
