Anakin's flagship was a Venator-class Star Destroyer of the Galactic Republic naval forces' Open Circle Fleet. It served as the flagship of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker.[8] Sometime after the destruction of his original flagship, the Star Destroyer Resolute,[9] Skywalker used the Venator as his second command ship for his task force.[8]
Description
As a Venator-class Star Destroyer,[1] the flagship was equipped with a dorsal hangar bay, which held Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunships, as well as the personal Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.[4] It was also armed with eight DBY-827 heavy turbolaser turrets and two medium dual turbolaser cannons.[3]
