Clone medical officers,[3] also known as medical officer clones,[4] were Galactic Republic clone troopers specialized in medical treatments. They served aboard Haven-class medical stations and Republic starships during the Clone Wars.[1]
They wore a similar uniform to the clone navigation officer. During the early stages of the Clone Wars, the uniform was white with an insignia on their left arm,[1] later adding red stripes to the sides of the uniform and moving the insignia to the chest.[5]
Behind the scenes
The clone medical officers first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode Shadow of Malevolence,[1] but were not identified in canon until the book Ultimate Star Wars.[4]
