Alaris was a planet of the Mytaranor sector's Kashyyyk system in the galaxy's Mid Rim. One of its moons, Alaris Prime, was home to a colony of Wookiees from the neighboring planet Kashyyyk.[1]

Behind the scenes

Alaris was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Collapse of the Republic, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] The planet initially appeared in the real-time strategy game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds developed by Ensemble Studios and released by LucasArts in 2001.[4]
