Ahsoka Season 2 is the second season of the live-action Disney+ series Star Wars: Ahsoka. On January 9, 2024, the second season was announced to be in development by Dave Filoni.[1] At Celebration Japan, Filoni said he would begin filming the season after he returned from Celebration.[3]
Although no release date was given,[4] the Disney+ content slider mistakenly listed a release date of Fall 2025 for a "Season 3,"[5] an update that was meant for Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures.[6] This was later changed to list 2026,[7] and was later removed.
Development
On October 7, 2025, Ezra Bridger actor Eman Esfandi confirmed that filming had wrapped and posted a video of two extras in stormtrooper armor, confirming the appearance of standard stormtroopers in the season.[8] According to a fan who then attended Comic Con Scotland on October 12, Rosario Dawson revealed Season 2 had a smaller budget than Ahsoka Season 1 yet would depict a larger scale than Season 1.[9] Dawson also reportedly confirmed that she had been filming scenes with Hayden Christensen a week before the panel and reiterated that filming, by that point, was officially complete.[10]
